ODI section of the series will start from December 15 till December 22nd. The two teams will then meet each other in ODIs at Chennai, Vizag and Cuttack. The selectors have said they have a very good chance to measure their skillset especially in ODI’s against India because they(India) are a quality side on any given day.

Coach Phill Simon Said: We have three matches in each format, so we wanted to give each squad a chance to compete against India.

Nicholas Pooran will hold the reigns of deputy for T20I’s and Shai Hope will take on as Vice Captain for One Dayers.

Selectors said the upcoming T20I world cup is going to held in Australia(2020) and the one after that is here in India (2021) so there is a lot of preparation to be done for first for Australia, so we have given the players here a chance in this series and we know we have players outside who may be coming in later on as well, so it’s good to give those here another opportunity.
